Terms of use
Version 1 — subject to legal review. This text has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet and is not legal advice. Last updated: October 19, 2026.
1. What PlebHelp does
PlebHelp is a place to create campaigns and receive donations in sats, over Lightning. Donors pay with their own wallet, and the sats go straight to the wallet of the person who created the campaign. PlebHelp does not receive, hold or forward money. Today, PlebHelp charges no fee.
2. What PlebHelp does not do
- It holds no one's sats and has no balance to withdraw.
- It does not check the identity of campaign creators. There is no “verified” badge.
- It does not guarantee that a story is true or how the money will be used.
- It does not reverse payments or refund donations.
- It never asks for your seed or private key. If someone asks for it in the name of PlebHelp, do not share it.
3. Who can use it
You don't need an account to donate. To create an account and a campaign, you must be at least 18 years old.
4. Campaign creators' responsibility
Campaign creators are responsible for their campaigns. When you create a campaign, you agree to:
- tell a true story and say how the sats will be used;
- use only images and text you have the right to use;
- not publish documents, medical records or other people's personal data without their permission;
- provide a Lightning wallet that belongs to you or to the cause you represent;
- use the sats for what you promised, and tell your supporters if the plan changes;
- follow the laws of your country, including tax laws on what you receive.
5. Direct donations, no refunds
- Each donation leaves the donor's wallet and arrives straight in the campaign creator's wallet.
- A confirmed Lightning payment cannot be undone. PlebHelp cannot refund it, because the money never passes through PlebHelp.
- If you need a refund, talk to the campaign creator. If you think it is a scam, report the campaign.
- Your wallet may charge a small network fee to send. That fee is not PlebHelp's.
- Before you pay, check the amount and the campaign. Only give what you can afford to give.
6. What is not allowed
You may not use PlebHelp for:
- scams, fraud or misleading campaigns, including made-up stories, people or causes;
- pretending to be another person, an organization or PlebHelp itself;
- any illegal content;
- any form of exploitation of children or teenagers;
- hate, threats or incitement to violence against people or groups;
- asking anyone for their seed, private key or password;
- spam, or repeated campaigns for the same cause.
7. Moderation and removal
- A person reviews every campaign before it is shown to everyone. Reviewing is not a guarantee: read the story before you donate.
- We may pause, hide or take down any campaign or comment that breaks these terms, at any time.
- Content that exploits children or teenagers is taken down as soon as we learn of it, and we report it to the authorities.
- Taking a campaign down does not undo payments already made. The donation history stays on file.
- If your campaign is taken down and you disagree, write to contato@plebhelp.com. A person reads and replies.
8. Reporting
Seen something wrong? Use “Report this campaign” on the campaign page. A person reads every report. A report does not prove fraud, and the campaign may stay up while we review it. Do not include other people's personal data in your report.
9. Limits of our responsibility
PlebHelp shows campaigns and helps you pay the person asking for help directly. PlebHelp is not responsible for whether a campaign is true, how the money is used, or problems with your wallet or the recipient's wallet. This section does not take away any right the law gives you.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms may change. The date of the last change is at the top of this page. If a change is important, we will post a notice on the site before it takes effect. If PlebHelp ever charges a fee, the amount will be shown before you pay and will apply only to new donations.
11. Governing law
These terms follow Brazilian law. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of Brasília-DF, Brazil. This does not take away the consumer's right to go to the courts where they live.
